Civy number plate, tax disc, blackout, dark clothing, could she be AFS or NFS? I'm not suggesting she would be sent to put out small fires, but they did use messengers.

The head lamp blackout were they used only on civvy bikes or would they have been fitted to wd bikes

They were certainly used in the early post Dunkirk period on impressed machines but I suspect the Army standardised with the regular hooded type very soon.

Maybe its wrong to call an NFS bike civy, its still a government department with equipment issue organized by the Ministry of supply.

front frame looks to be a duplex type, which means its a 350 or 500.
no check springs on the forks, so most likely a 350

I cannot see a forward part of the exhaust pipe sweep so it may even be one with an upswept pipe therefore civvy/impressed
