John I am still waiting for the witness statement from Rex. But I will probably claim 184. Although I have proof that 197 past Preston at the finish. But there were to many stragglers who failed to start on time or stopped to help their mates or were just unable to keep up with the 25mph run. Thus allowing cars and vans to get in-between them. Therefore to tidy it up, I have stopped the video as the 184th bike past Preston.
Here is the video that I will submit. Taken by Preston and John Allison at the rear. Ron

No Rik even if I knew all their names I can't be bothered. I will however ask GWR if they will accept the bloke broken down in front of Preston. He had covered well over 2 miles by then. The lay-by where we started was 2.3 miles from the finish roundabout. with the assembled bikes stretching away for about another 1/4 mile or more. Ron

I did feel sorry for him, Ron. All that frantic kicking and then the helmet off...we've all been there. He had time to push in actually. TT Replicas have been won like that !

They're brilliant videos, thanks for posting them. I see what you mean now Ron after our telephone chat, I counted 184 before the van, including the broken down bike. That is such a shame considering we had 220 bikes gathered. I don't know why there are so many gaps when we're going at 25mph on a straight road. Hopefully that number will be accepted by Guinness as a new record. It shows it is still possible to better that number but may not be until the 75th D-Day. A great effort Ron and thanks again for organising us rabble all week
