Very tidy speedo Stu, just some new supposedly correct clips for the headlamp glass in my shopping basket. If only they could write "this way up" on them.
I was watching until the very last. Thought you'd get out bid. I have an old 4 speed Triumph speedo on my WM20 which I've seen go for more than that one. You did good I'd say now that I've been watching what some of these M20 parts go for. Congrats
Thanks John
I thought it would be a battle to the end ! I was prepared to bid 350 USD so I'm very happy with 350 AUS delivered !
Another part off the list
Cheers Stu
I was scrolling down and before I saw the picture I read, "I bought a nice speedo today....very pleased with myself !" I thought, Oh no! Is this the direction this forum is going?
I'm still here, but the kids are on school Summer holidays, so there's no motorcycle riding, just kids telly and Loom Bands all over the place!!! Spent the last two days trying to get my old Douglas running, but it won't have it. Everything seems right, but it's just being obstinate!
Very quiet with a car-diameter two-into-one exhaust. I couldn't hear it above the Norton (and mine has a genuine silencer). - It has a high / low transfer box and reverse, but not the handiest H-gate change though. It certainly had a lot of interest around the area where it was originally made.
Ian.
I'm still here although, I have just come back from the BSAOC Hampshire branch camp weekend, at Newtown near Portsmouth took the Golden Flash had a very nice weekend under canvas.
