Well, I still have the stock regulator on my 43 WM20. It's blowing bulbs. I tried to replace the headlight bulb on my bike, but it twisted right off and broke in my hand.

I'm looking to replace the headlight and pilot bulbs. Anyone know the part numbers for a modern set up?

I still have the 6 volt system, with stock regulator. Anyone got a source for the regulator housing? I'd like to leave mine looking stock.

I'm in the US, so any US sources would be appreciated. Royal Mail is exceedingly expense these days it seems.

If the stock regulator is blowing bulbs its possible it just needs adjusting. I can email you the Lucas Service Sheets if you fancy having a go.

And don't continue to ride with your generator connected or you will overheat it and throw the solder off your commutator.

Ok, I'm going to go ahead and order an electronic regulator. I like the idea of not having points bounce, etc.

That looks like a combo that will get me in business. Anyone gone that route or any other solution?
