I,m about to fit an all copper head gasket to my M20.
Is it wise to use also just a little silicone gasket ? Or should i avoid that ?
Anybody with experience ?

Just anneal it (heat to cherry red then plunge it into cold water) then fit, tighten bolts every time you use it until it wont tighten anymore and job done
