I have been collecting photos of WD bikes for some years and have a few with recognisable C numbers that were being used by Airborne Forces.. Having referred to Orchard &Madden it seems to me that in each of the contracts for Airborne bikes that Tewkesbury is listed as one of the delivery destinations. Can anyone tell me if the Airborne Forces has a depot in Tewkesbury or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Hi John...Try looking up Ashchurch camp, Nr. Tewkesbury...This camp was operational during ww2 and has been since(and probably before.) It is one of the largest vehicle holding camps....A friend of mine used to work there as a civilian worker..I've never been inside but I have ridden past it and it is large!...Ian
