Has anybody got pics showing the angle of the seat mounting front plates, as
seen from the side? The saddle on my WM20 was set too high and too far forward and yet the seat springs were leaning backwards. Having fitted the
correct seat spring top mounting plates, the seat now sits further back but the front mounting plates do not meet up with the pivot boss on the frame. I think that if I swap these plates side-to-side, they may meet the boss correctly and the combination of these two 'corrections' will give me a saddle that sits further back and lower than it was, which would be ideal.
I've figured it out. If you swap the front support plates side-to-side it changes their angle dramatically and the seat now fits nicely and the real bonus is that I can now remove and refit the fuel tank without having to unbolt and jack up the front of the saddle!
