I'm going to the show on Friday, but there's some stuff already on the way. Saw a Sherman on a transporter today (vintage transporter as well!)accompanied by another huge truck, also two Mac trucks (I think), one rag top, the other open. Sadly, they were all stopped, individually, on the side of the M20! Hope they all got there, especially the Sherman on the transporter, I'd hate to be the tow truck stuck with that one to haul to Folkestone!
Incidentally, if anyone is going down by bike, and has dramas, I'm in Maidstone, have a trailer/tools etc. Drop me a mail, if you need my number in case of emergencies.
myself and Shaun will be there on our WM20s plus my daughter on my WNG we will probably park up on Ferguses NOBS stand but Saturday night we,ll be in the bar watching the burlesque show!
Came back from the BSAOC Belgium Summer camp yesterday, and saw a few army trucks waiting for the ferry at Dunkerque, I fitted a racing jet to my WM20 and it's now fully ready for it's ride on Friday afternoon...
Looking forward to seeing all those pukka WW2 motorcycles..........and M20s.......on our motorcycle repair pitch whic this year is part of a "BritishCorner", so look out for the big Daimler armoured car. The workshop (bike park) opens for business on Tuesday evening. "Terms strictly cash, no tick!". We should be more or less where we were last year. Lots more grass this year although the going is a bit soft at present, so hope the forecast dry spell eventuates. Be there or be.....somewhere else? Ferg
