Rims

Hi All
After reading over threads and finding posts on wheels/rims etc. i decided to do my own rim replacement !
The rear wheel came up nicely after blasting so i only had to rebuild the front one, after sourcing a new rim from Modak (melbourne australia) and cleaning up the old spokes and nipples i laced and trued the wheel using the forks as a jig!
Just finished and the postie delivered my new wheel bearings!
A huge" thumbs up" to this forum and all that contribute!
Cheers Stu

Re: Rims

Hi Stuart.

It is not a BSA , but it looks like a very nice find.
I am here for pretty long, I guess..
Not as long as the hardcore regular participants.
Few good years, in some I were less active,
And learned more than I could "Teach"..

It is the most awesome forum:
Lovely people,
A very comprehensive knowledge base and answers on any answer you can have,
Sometimes it's hard to believe how people you do not really know or met
Would go and read, and/or take photos, just in order to help you,
Or to what extents they will go to commemorate
An otherwise long forgotten WW2 dispatch rider.
No foul language, respect to every user,
In short- GREAT FUN!!

I have 2 BSA WM20,41' and 45', not riding it as much as I should or like to..

All the best and good luck!
Noam.
