Vehicle could be operated, or guns fired, but not both at the same time as recoil would force the machine backwards....

That picture shows where the Tommy gun mounts is fixed from the front of the saddle.

I would hope that we don't need any more guns in the world, perhaps gun's that broadcast music and poetry, but no more "real" guns. Any real guns would be useless if the the people holding them realised the pain and suffering they cause. I also hope that the memory of these who suffered 70 years ago and soon 100 years ago will focus minds on those who ARE SUFFERING TODAY.

I do like the Bren Motley mount, I am tempted to try and make one but it's not going to be easy.

Yes the seats an integral part of the mount, not easy at all.

according to ABC News there has been 74 school shooting in the USA in the last 18 months I don't really know what else to say except sad isn't it

Sorry, but this is not a political forum!

The sidecar is a somewhat modified normal one, and my original glass negative (where all prints derived from) shows the framenumber of S1664 most of these bikes went to the Canadians.

My old man,[Middx regt, Alamein to Italy] drove a Bren carrier and his gunner Darkie, used to play jazz tunes firing on his Vickers!!!

dont forget the 3 inch mortar sidecar, or the one with the mortar and the boys anti tank rifle, there were some odd experiments, the clip for a bren gun on single machine with the bren poking between the legs always looked a bit uncomfortable to me.

Might want to recheck that, even CNN is saying the antigun group made up that number, it is way out of line.

I sure hope this doesn't turn into a huge gun thread. I'm on enough forums that have torn themselves to pieces over gun threads. We all have our opinions, and you're not likely going to change anyone's stance on this one way or the other. It's like arguing with someone that their religion is wrong.

Please just drop this subject.

My original post was intended to be both ironic and a joke in that the Norton looks like it has too many guns fitted already...

Anyway, forget about guns...On this forum we don't need guns...

We can tear each other to pieces perfectly well over the wrong horn being fitted... ...Ian
