I've read somewhere on this forum that there's a Humbrol matt brown that's a close match to service brown but I can't seem to find it. Any tips?

You'll need about 50 miniature tins for a WD bike though......

Wilkinsons (high-street shops in UK) do a satin-finish spray "Plastikote" acrylic spray paint in a large size that is, in fact, not far off dark UK camouflage brown.......slightly darker than SCC No.2 brown but used on occasions.........

I contacted Humbrols customer service department once, told them I was restoring a WW2 motorcycle and asked them if they would sell me 5-10 litres of their paint as a bulk purchase...

They said I would have to buy it in the (largest) 125 ml size tins...

That was somewhere between 40 and 80 tins depending on my requirement ....Ian

I'm looking to touch-in some small marks before they lead to a re- paint.
I've heard that restorations have started from a small job like replacing a tyre and progressed from there - and I'm not ready for another restoration just yet!

My 1970 T120R Bonneville was taken off the road in 1978 to have the leaking oil seals replaced. Things 'progressed' from there...

Last year I bought what was left of it from the owner after he'd had a divorce and two house moves..It was a sorry sight.. ...Ian
