Hi all,

In the end I found a the correct Rearstand for my Norton 16H. There was a wrong one mounted somehoh on the bike. See pictures. Does any one know where this stand fits too?

Thant could possibly be a front stand?

The large spring washers are fitted on Triumphs but I think it must be a few years pre war if it's off one...Ian

It's very similar to my Velo front wheel stand. Ron

Some rear stands were held in place buy a stud instead of a return spring. Vincents, Model 2 AJS V twin etc. The pictured one looks too heavy duty to be a front stand.

Doesn't look like a front stand, too wide at the back. My bet would be that its homemade as rear stands were quite hard to find at one time, before the Indians started making them.
