hi Ron sorry about confusion when I put the drum brakes in the hub they wont sit flush to the bottom they are a half a inch high sorry mate I can see it just cant explain it to well thanks for reply cheers mate
Shaun. Some pictures would be handy. So what you are saying is. You fix the brake shoes to the inside of the brake plate with their two return springs. Then you try to enter the shoes into the brake drum (the hub is the bit that the brake drum is fixed to with three special bolts).
