I have an upholsterer ready to make solo saddle and pillion covers but as he normally doesn't do these type of covers, he has no seat frame clips to attach.
Do we have a clip supplier? I have seen some clips on a repro seat that were horrifying so would like to avoid a bad finsh.
Perhaps a strategy to make them at home if nothing is available?
A good thing to use is the steel banding that they use on pallets, just cut it to the lengths you need, the colour is a good copy of the originals. They would need holes punching and the ends rounding off a little. To fit them they need bifurcated rivets.
