Best Wishes to all on the forum and their families.. for Christmas and the coming year...Ian Santa Claus has filled his sack Christmas time draws near He's sorted out his touring rack and waxed his Belstaff gear. His riding boots are polished well His goggles cleaned and clear All preparations for the ride which must be done each year. There's not that many bikes of course can manage such a trip. Surefooted in their handling and not inclined to slip. Lot's of low down pull's required to carry such a load. Paint and castings must be good, there's salt on every road. Something strong yet simple would clearly suit the task. Is there such a bike around? It's not too much to ask... Japs are just not tough enough and that Russian one's a jest The Italians lack the finish and the Harley sure ain't best! It seems that he had tried them all The bikes for sale today. Not one of them could do the job required on Christmas day.. Yet this story has a happy end I'm very pleased to say, He's sure to make it through this year On Fathers BSA...Ian
