Lost those bloody front tank mounting bolts(again)!

I know, I know, I should have lock tighted them but lessons are hard learnt around hear sometimes.
Does anyone in Australia know of a manufacturer that makes CEI screws in stainless here in Aus?

And just by the way, looking at Draganfly's diagram of petrol tank mountings, does the drawing show the cup and sleeve for this front mount in the wrong order?

Re: Lost those bloody front tank mounting bolts(again)!

You are right Mat. The cup should go on first facing out. I'm sure there must be someone in Oz to produce those bolts. But I use this firm for most everything you will need. Post for a couple of bolts won't be a killer.

Just make sure they are not too long and hit the steering stem.....I know of some that have done this Ron

Re: Lost those bloody front tank mounting bolts(again)!

I have original patterns/dimensions for all the front tank mounting parts. I'm planning to produce these as a full set (including the rear bolts) right after Christmas..All parts in stainless steel...
I may produce the rubbers as well if I can find a suitable manufacturer....Ian

Ian I have used this firm on several occasions for special size rubber washers and doughnuts and even rubber band suspension. They stamp them out of various thickness sheets of neoprene rubber.

Thanks Ron...I'll get in touch with them after hostilities are over...

I have a couple of original front rubbers and some originals of the thinner of the rear mounting rubbers as patterns...

Can anyone give me the dimensions for the thicker of the rear rubbers?.. (off an original)...Ian

I'm up for a set of rubbers for front and rear if you do get them made.
Got a set of rear rubbers from the UK recently and they don't even fit the bolts.

Thanks Terry,
I forgot about Classic Fasteners, used them about 25 years ago.
They've got some screws that are close to the original tank mount screws with the reduced hex but with a domed head, these will do.
