Doing some long range planning, as I expect to paint the bike this winter after getting the mechanicals squared away. On my DUKW and three jeeps, I've used Gillespie Coatings from Army Jeep Parts here in the States. 24087 is a dark OD, and I wonder if that's close to the WD standard? My M20 is a '43. Also, I've seen a photo of two British soldiers in Germany on a M20 that had a white star on the tank, and I know most British vehicles had the star, unlike aircraft which had the national markings. I'll be grateful to all that offer up their knowledge on the paint and markings. Bob

I think the white star on vehicles was a D day marking a bit like the stripes on the wings and fuselage of aircraft
