Not sure how possible this is but I would be very much interested in finding out as much about my M20's history as I can.
I'd imagine its wartime history would be lost but some post-war records may still exist?
From what I have heard speaking to the person who resored it (a few owners back) is that he (in Belgium) bought it from someone in Holland who had imported it from America, but it came with Arabic papers (which i do not own. Someone also sugested that the "JLO" stamp on the engine is from a rebuild in Germany.
I have put some photos below. Just out of the chance that someone on here has access to history records or can point me in the right direction.

The 'JLO' stamp probably is from a 'German' rebuild...The JLO factory was employed after the war in the refurbishment of motorcycles for the occupying forces.
I have a couple of photos taken in the factory showing M20 engines under repair and completed units....
I haven't seen the stamp on an engine before...interesting..Ian
