I'm going to bid and buy that for you Henk. Then you can send me the VP Viper back home. Ron

Re: Wooden shoe???

It wouldn't make much difference, me in that wooden shoe or the guy in it in the ebay photo.

I guess I should paint it yellow once I have it?

Re: Wooden shoe???

To get back to the wooden sidecarbody, I might be bidding on it, will suit my P&M, and have a chassis waiting, but is there anyone in the neighborhood who could pick it up, and store it for a while?? or bring to a more central part of the UK?

Rob, Ian???

Thanks,

Lex

Not sure I'm local enough, Hayle in Cornwall is a 220 mile round trip for me.

I did see that chassis but I have no idea what it is, is that a Royal Enfield propstand pictured with the fittings?

Ah Chris, that would be splendid!!! I have to go to Helston again at some point, but will also be at the Kempton jumble and Stoneleigh military fair in end of January, any chance of you going there??

Will research the sidecar body a bit more today, and see if I really need it, but like the green paint on it!! (what's left of it!) not sure what to do with the old man though......

Rob, yes that is a bit of a muchsness!!! but you're nearer then me!

Cheers,

Lex

Chris is coming up to mine in January and I'm only down the road from Matthew and Joe, I don't know if it's workable if there is space to fit it in the van?

Re: Wooden shoe???

hi lex,

should be room in the van to get it up to daves if you want it there ? or, if you are coming to helston and want to collect from there i'm 5 miles west of there ! let me know which works for you !

Re: Wooden shoe???

Hi Chaps,

Thanks for all the thinking about it, but my bid was not high enough!!

Next time maybe!! I did not put too much on it, as it was not the right one after all, and the old guy was not a young lass......

Cheers,

Lex

What a daft thing to do with a 2CV. They're much more suitable as stables...
