Hi,

I’ve some questions.

I bought a new Engine Shaft Timing Pinion (I ordered a ½ time pinion). When I compare the (worn) one with the new bought one, the sprocket teeth doesn’t correspondents. The teeth are situated in between!!??

Does anybody know what is the right one for a WM20 engine? I don’t know if the worn one is the right one as well, cause I never here the engine running…..





In the pics the left one is the new one.


In a spare/part list the Pinion has part no. 65-292 and in a other 65-692. Does anybody know witch is the right one, or is this the same part with different numbers?

I think the right one is for the M20 The other one i think is from a 350 Gold star who has a 10 degrees erlier cam lifting Gr Theo

I agree with Theo, the tooth has to be in the center of the keyway for M20.




Could the other be a bad copy ??

I have a spare NOS one for sale if you like.
