where does the small earth grub screw on the back of the magneto earth to

Roger I think officially it's for your battery earth. But if your battery is earthed to the frame, then no need to worry about that grub screw. But no harm to connect it to anywhere on the frame or your battery earth. Ron

On the Norton's clockwise mag, it's the other side of course. My original loom had two earth cables coming together here - from the battery and from the CVC box.
