M20 headlamp question

I'm not looking for a 'Rivet Counteresque' finish to my restoration, so would like to know if this headlamp would be suitable?

Thanks in advance for your sage replies..

Re: M20 headlamp question

These repro parts vary considerably in quality, not sure about one but it seems quite good. The glass should be replaced for a flat one but it's the correct model DU142 model it seems.

Re: M20 headlamp question

i think the 8" light looks good, fit a flat glass and possibly a better switch.

Re: M20 headlamp question

The headlamps look ok, have one on my M33, switch works fine. The headlamp glass was easy to take out and change, I fixed the new glass in with Evostick.

Re: M20 headlamp question

The only thing I can fault it with, if you're doing a Military restoration, is the fixing clip at the bottom, most military bikes had a big knurled screw and hardware there, but then, I'm a very bad rivet counter!

To modify is possible, but means drilling holes in the rim, and making a slot, and buy the hardware from me!
