Hello,
I blowed up my gasket between the cylinder head and barrel.
There are problems with the cylinder bolts. The threaded holes are too big.
Can I use bolts M10x1 to solve the problem?
Or is there an oversize for the bolts?
What is the best solution?
Hi Richard...Cylinder head bolt threads are 3/8" BSF...The best solution if they are worn/stripped is to fit helicoil inserts to restore the threads to the correct size...
A solid copper head gasket is a 'must have' item as the modern composite gaskets are unreliable.
