Easy come, easy go

I've just picked up the wheels for the M20 sprinter...Both fitted up with Morad flangeless alloy rims and stainless spokes and nipples.
I also bought the Avon AM26 tyres, Michelin tubes and rim tapes....
Now I'm happy but £600 lighter... ...
As the bill for the sprinter keeps rising sharply I can only hope it does what it's supposed to...Otherwise we're going to fall out... ....Ian

never mind whateever floats your boat, (or anchors it)

Re: Easy come, easy go

I have spent quiet a few hours and GBPs on my old lumps of British iron recently as well.
Still at least it keeps us out of the pubs and out of trouble

Re: Easy come, easy go

Hi Ian,hows yer leg healing?.Sorry i couldn't hang around at Stafford, one day we will have a propper chat.As Peter says these old lumps of iron certianly suck
up the cash.Netley costs me £100.00 in juice,i had two tickets and camping for
two days, and my mate let me down £42.00.I bought a rear stand £90.00 (needed as a pattern),picked up some bits £95.00,on the way home picked up a 1927 AJS motor
and two gearboxes £300.00, and never made my final destination for a saddle and an
exhaust pipe (pattern).
My bloody battery gave up the ghost south of the M25,had to resort to the RAC
£118.00 later i was back on the road.but shit happens and we all soldier on .
My very tolerant partner Jenny just takes it in her stride and lets me get on with it.Anyway as you have no telly, here's a bit of viewing to keep you sane.this has to be the love of a lifetime.
