This boy was a friend of the boy that owned this jacket;



He died 10 years ago while crossing the street, and got run over, and his widow gave me the jacket, so never did find out who the boy in the B/W picture was.

There was a whole gang of boys in Nijmegen, asking soldiers if they had any spare badges, and their mums sowed them on makeshift battledresses!
