Hello
Does anybody know if late war solid levers (levers only) could be fitted to the clamp parts of later pressed levers?
I hope I explained clear enough.

Hi Kalle..You can fit the solid blades (and pivot screws) but they are not a 'straight fit'...

The pressed steel type use larger diameter, shouldered, lever pivot screws so you will have to make and fit small sleeves to the holes to reduce them in size for the solid blade pivot screws..

When I did a couple of sets I made the sleeves in silver steel and hardened them...This actually improved the set up as it reduced the wear rate of the pivot screw holes...

In other respects they are the same....Ian

Thank you. This was the thing I needed to know. So I dont have to buy complete levers just blades will do. I already made sleeves for worn holes of pressed levers. Then I just have to make new sleeves with smaller inside diameter
