ID this ammeter

This is a 2" Type BM ammeter. Does anyone know of it's application. Is it perhaps for a panel tank model? Ron

Think I have the same in my G3 Panel?

Fits with a big spring, and a bayonet ring thingy.

Yes a panel tank unit with its proper fixing.

worth about two mortgages on ebay.

Exactly the same as in my 1937 AJS with the tank panel. When I doing the AJS up about 15 years ago, I bought two NOS for a tenner, now it would seem that they are worth about the same as my house!!

Yes it has the spring and bayonet ring thingy. I'll take a Granny annex for it

The Fergie would have had a 20 or 30 amp guage.
