What direction should the speedo rotate when it is on the bike, anti or clock wise?

Clockwise at least if were are talking about the drive and the cable looking from the top.

Good night and good luck finding the correct drive that goes in the opposite direction to normal. C11's use this type. Can't remember if the axle hole is the same but can be drilled out.I have one you can buy for 200 dollars!

Post war Flying Flea also! Again you have to drill out the spindle hole. I always pick them up at jumbles to check the rotation. Turn the dogs clockwise and the cable drive should also turn clockwise. But as Douglas said.....Mostly they turn the wrong way. Ron

Me too Ron.I'll never walk past a speedo drive without checking.

The Indian speedo drives are reprodution for BSA rear wheel, but is there a model you can change for a BSA m20 front wheel? To reverse the gear shaft in an other direction?
