Can anyone tell me if this model was ever used during WW2. Beyond the fact that it's ex WD, 500cc and the mudguards and handlebars are later editions, I know nothing about it, appart from the fact that it's for sale.

Well, it cetainly never was used in WW2!! It's a late 1950's AJS, and never used by the military, not in any country that I know of anyway.

And then not very original, so would steer clear of it.......
