So, I think my rear stand is too far angled based on other pictures from this forum. I have never heard of what is an acceptable angle tolerance for the stand angle. I know it can't be completely perpendicular to a level parking surface because it would roll forward, so what would be the maximum angle back? I assume 5 degrees? On the converse, what would be the maximum allowable forwards, 10 degrees?

I plan to weld a bead and adjust it with an angle grinder, so that's why I'm asking.

Hi Kevin..About 5 degrees would be correct...The nearer to the vertical, the nearer you are to putting the load directly down the stand legs and the less you will load up the pivots due to the considerable leverage exerted as the angle increases....Ian
