I rebuilt a B31 engine good sparking mag checked timing correct i.e. point at about 11 o'clock just gripping a fag paper slack wire advance checked valve timing again tried another plug I have gold star scrambler cams in it good compression still will not fire I cant understand why it will not start

First thing, is it timed on the wrong stroke?

Next, sure it isn't a carb issue?

I tried that retiming it 180 degrees out and it is a new carb but I am thinking its a carb problem even thought I had it off and cleaned it laying in bed last night I thought that the plug didn't sell very petrolly carb off and check it again don't miss next weeks episode

If it's timed on the wrong stroke it will be 360 degrees out not 180.

sorry maffs isn't my best point when I went to school we never did degrees
