Unknown pannier frame fittings

Any idea what these are off? they were bolted to the bottom edge of an original set of pannier frames.

Re: Unknown pannier frame fittings

Hey there Rob, I also had one of those fittings attached to a pannier frame I got a few years back. Beats me as to what it is, but will be interested to find out also.

Re: Unknown pannier frame fittings

These are for the Norton 16H pannier frames for as far as I know...

Triumph TRW.

Re: Unknown pannier frame fittings

Yes Norton 16H front of frame supports. The rears are even more twisty. Ron

Re: Unknown pannier frame fittings

Thanks chaps.

The frames had the sliding clips on the braces rather than the wing nuts which I presume makes them early, so I will assume 16H, but Triumph TRW may have copied the design?

Re: Unknown pannier frame fittings

Rob,

Certainly not 16H, see picture, still some sets left!

Have also a N.O.S. set now, and they are exactly as my repro's

I've got the one if anyone needs it; I've no use for it. Let me know....
