Engine is ready to assembly but I am struggling with the correct valve timing.
There are two different value sets (see pictures) for a 16H indicating slightly different timings. Maybe post and pre war settings???
Picture 1
Picture 2
I searched the Norton Book from E.M.FRANKS and the timings in picture 1 suite to a 1932 Engine timing and the timings of picture 2 are matching 1947 timings.
As I run a 1936 engine I than assume the following values are the correct ones:
Inlet opens 25° (1/4) before top center
Inlet closes 45° (7/16) after bottom center
Outlet opens 60° (13/16) before bottom center
Outlet closes 25° (1/4) after top center
Does anyone have the correct ones for a 1936 engine.
Thanks
Phillip
