It's not a photo that I've seen before. Which book is it from ? It's a shame that the markings are not too clear. Presumably 1st Battalion RIF. Does the picture date from their time in North Africa with 78th Division ?

The burning 11 cab CMP suggests an earlier date rather than later on during the Italian campaign.
