That front guard won't last long.

Re: Another flea bay bitza

The description says understood to be a former AA bike, could they have retro fitted modern forks to the more recent part of their fleet, and the price seems OK at the moment at 1,950.

Re: Another flea bay bitza

Not sure what you mean Rob. The AA were using Tele fork models in the 50's-60's.
Didn't teles start around 47-48?
They also still use motorcycles.....But not with side cars

Re: Another flea bay bitza

Looks like its a ZM type frame with the sidecar lug under the tank, bit hard to tell as the pic wont blow up. No pic of left hand sub frame to see if it has the sidecar lug. Tank looks late C11 or 12 or even C15. The speedo drive from the rear wheel is the only place it could be driven from with the tele forks and the early M20 gearbox. The whole front end could be C11/C12. Nothing wrong with specials/bitza's as long as they are sold as that. Think it would be nice to know frame and engine numbers.

Re: Another flea bay bitza

That bike has a girder forks front frame and early (short) B group telescopic forks. Not a good combination.

Re: Another flea bay bitza

Hi,Its easy enough to ask,frame number YM20 1484,engine number M20 81871
He recons the engine may have been military, but lots of things could have happened
in sixty six years.

Re: Another flea bay bitza

I had a 1948 M21 that had a rigid rear end and tele front, maybe they started using the forks before they'd finished using up the girder frames....
