I need to buy a wiring harness for my WM20, and am considering this one on E-Bay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BSA-B31-33-M20-21-MAIN-WIRING-HARNESS-1937-TO1955-/390635364796?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item5af3aea1bc
Would it be better to look for a harness that is more year/model specific, and, if so, where is the best place to get one?
Hi Scorpion, the general consensus on this site seems to be that it is very easy to make your own harness from cable and accessories that can be obtained cheaply.
If you use the search box all the info is there.Depends if you are going for originality or just want to re -wire the bike.Original wires were all black rubber covered with colored rings attached.I think there is a wiring diagramme in the technical section .http://www.wdbsa.nl/wd-wiring.htm
Hope this helps,cheers Rick
Piece of cake; and use a rubber tube from a race bike to put the main section of wires in (from the headlamp to the battery); the smallest size tube is very near the original

Okay, I'll give Electrical Engineering Services a ring on Monday to order some black cable and coloured ident. tapes. Hopefully they will be able to tell my what size cable I need for the job.
Cheers
