Seat bolts - again!

Having seen the various post about hexagonal seat bolts, I've not seen anyone talking about a round version. Were round fittings used on WM20's, as the ones on my bikes seem to be similar in age, condition and paint layers, to other parts of the bike that weren't painted black by a previous owner?

Also, can anyone tell me if the seats are 'small' or 'large', as I need to get a new cover and really don't know what the sizes 'small' and 'large' refer to?

Cheers
Scorp.

Re: Seat bolts - again!

I'd call Bantam saddles "Small" and M20 "Large" However there is a larger one as fitted to Big4's and so on. But Frederick in Belgium knows the size and his covers are quite nice. ffmotoronderdelen@skynet.be

Scorp, a suggestion: if you are taller than the average DR during WW2, move the springs on your saddle from 'down' to 'up', by drilling 3mm holes above the current ones. It will save your coccyx
