An extremely lightweight version WB30 with no battery and a direct lighting system to the tiny head lamp. All that effort to save a few pounds, and then the rider could have put a kitchen sink in his panniers?? Ron

be fair it might be an alloy kitchen sink - lightweight, very smooth and aerodynamic!!!

An anchor and a rope might be a better plan than a sink...These very early B30s had 5" brakes at both ends but could do 70-75mph..
They actually saved more than 'a few pounds '..Target weight for the first prototypes was 288lbs and BSA managed that..More than 125lbs lighter than an M20!!!....Ian
