Help to ID some parts

I've just noticed a stack of parts up for sale not far from where I live.
Can you have a look at photo 8 and tell me if that is a desert stand in it?

I also think photo 4 has a single spring clutch cover and maybe some girder parts.

Re: Help to ID some parts

Hi Tony

The top of the prop stand doesn't appear to be finished, no pivot hole and square corners so presumably its a repro?

Some of the fork links could be M20 but as some are chromed they could be discarded parts from an Indian import.

I wouldn't buy without viewing.

Re: Help to ID some parts

Yes did think the top of the stand looked odd, but I've never seem an original one so wasn't sure.
I did also see the brass chaincase inspection plug that I am also missing.
Might head up on the weekend for a look and see if there are any other gems hiding amongst the lot.

Re: Help to ID some parts

Hi Tony,
I think your bike has the brazed lug on the frame for the short field stand and the one in the pic is a long one. Unless you want to get the frame clamp to use the long one. I have a original long one that you can have if you want. I am only about five minutes away (Rockingham)from Ray in Port Kennedy.Email me if you want it.
