I've got a couple of original NOS carrier bags stamped with Belgian markings hence I guess the Belgian Army used ex WD bikes in the early post war years.
From 1949 onwards batches of new Gillets, Saroleas and Fn's were introduced with big batches of DR gear and bikes in the early fiftees. I'll post some pics of Belgian DR helmets.

The army museum in Brussels is sure worth a visit but not in the vicinity of Bouillon.
i only remember the fortress from a field trip.
In Bastogne there are several nice museums on the battle of the bulge.
