M20 bottom end urgently needed

Hi All..Anyone got a good bottom half M20 engine ( or M21 would also do).I have just been out on a run to check the bike for Normandy next week and I think the big ends knackered as its now banging and ratling like a good one and the oil tanks cold!!!!If anyone has a good bottom half or whole engine even at apush that they would sell me I still might have time to to sort it.Many thanks Andy

Hi Andy,

Did you manage to find an engine? Would be nice if you could fix that bike and ride around Normandy.

I have an engine you could borrow, but that doesn't help you much I guess.

Hi Thanks for the offer Henk.I realLy wanted to take the M20 for sentimental reasons and I think the original engine is going to need major work and have the bike off the road for a long time.... so a good replacement seemed the quickest way to get it back on the road.Thanks again for the offer.
