the corks on my 1952 b31 plunger were almost see through so i bought some new cork off ebay how do i fit them they are hard and slightly large i filed one which took ages thanks roger

Not sure which cork you are referring to but....I find that placing the cork in boiling water for a few minutes makes the material extremely pliable....I use this trick to soften the cork oil seal fitted behind the clutch....works a treat everytime

thanks george it was the corks that are on the clutch chain wheel some 20 odd i will give that a try
