ID help

I received these through the post today with no sender ID. For the life of me, I can't think who sent them or what they are. Can anyone help.......Could be a 'Doh!' moment in a minute.

Ron.

Re: ID help

Funny looking studs, what does the tool for doing them up look like?

Re: ID help

Ah I see it all now. I guess these are sent to me for you Lex.

Rob they are a similar idea to Norton. These studs sit in the rear hub with the long tube type wheel nuts (same as Norton). I don't know how the slot thing works. Never had mine apart that far.

Re: ID help

The slots sit in a riveted ring, with 3 rivets inside the brake drum, and that prevents them turning, the long nuts have a spring loaded ball bearing, thet sits in the off side of the hub, that has a little recess, so it can never become undone, in theory that is!!

Sorry, no picture of this mundaine part.

Re: ID help

Did have a picture, the 3 rivets are replaced with screws here, only way if you have to replace the studs.

Re: ID help

Thanks for that Lex. Of course I must have seen mine from that angle as I have replaced the wheel bearings. Just didn't recognise those studs, out of context, so to speak. Ron
