I would like to make a bid on a vintage engine and gearbox in a few days but it is collection only. Is there anyone of you forum-members living close to (North)Oxford and willing to collect it for me and keep it till early September when we travel to the UK again. Any expense will be covered of course.

Thanks all for your kind offers !! but sadly no need anymore as I didn't win the auction.

I was trying to get a hand on a Raleigh engine and gearbox as my M20's are almost finished and I hope to start restoring a 1930 Raleigh in the near future.

But it is very good to know so many of you are willing to do such a favor in case there is another opportunity.
