in the daily mirror today there is a spitfire for sale ex indian air force for £1.45 million it is in the usa at the moment it will probably cost more that the £1500 shipping cost quoted for the M20 on this forum i would buy it my self but i dont think my neighbours wouldnt like the wing sticking into their gardens
There was one on ebay last month that might have fitted in your garden, a two seater 80% full size replica. Looked really nice. Cheap at only 100 grand!!

Back around the early 80's, a Jag engine was used in Western Australia in a non flying, movie prop Junkers float plane, apparently just doing taxi shots and close ups they had a hard time keeps seals and main bearings up to it due to prop loadings.
