It has weird two piece brake rod and civil type oil tank...no damper knob...and wrong levers

Hi Ian,

That's Michel Bacque's (from Belgium) 1939 KM20 after it received a new coat of paint after 20 years of use.

My best guess is that Michel has long late war forks with an original brake rod that was obviously to short for the late war forks.

I do have some early war Military M20 photos with this type of oil tank caps while the rest of the bike indicates it should have this model cap.

How about the speedo bracket ? Never seen that one before.
Should'nt the speedo be placed on top of the forks, in the middle ?
