hi all. my 1941 G3L crankshaft is stamped G3 on one flywheel, ive seem complete flywheels/conrod from a later bike ie, AJS 350, 16M and they also have G3 stamped, is there a difference??

Hi Barry,

From 1947 on the connecting rod is shorter, 6 3/8 against 7 3/8 for the pre 1947 engines.
