Anyone got any detailed history of the velox gruppo company? Pity they aren't still around with all the industrial M20 motors around here in Oz. A mate of mine has 5 lying around.They were used as power supply for swing saws here.
One thing's for sure...these engines aren't as sporty as they look..As the kit drops right onto an M20 bottom end it retains the lumpy flywheels and mild cams of that model. It probably won't go as well as a standard B33 without some more substantial work. You also have the long and very flexible M20 con rod, so you wouldn't want to be revving it too much through the gears...
Saying that the port layout and valves are reasonable so the makings are there..No doubt the limitations are similar with the Norton kit, which looks virtually identical....Ian
