I am restoring a Matchless 41-G3L and have seen a flower shaped petrol cap and a wing nut style. Which is correct? Also were they paited military or chromed?

Hi, it should be the flower shaped one as the others require a hinge and it should be either cadmium plated or dull chrome, I have one and I can't weigh up which finish it is!
