Hello, i have rebuild the engine off a villiers junior de luxe.
But i still have problems with the pulling power at low refs.
The carburator i have is 10 mm. I have borrowed a 12 or 13 mm.
It's a bit better but still problems.
I took about 2mm off the alu cylinder head.
I've trie-ed a lot more but i'm out off options.
All inside off the engine is new.
Including over size piston and redrilled cylinder.
The main way of tuning Villiers two strokes was by increasing crankcase compression. This was usually done by replacing the "bob weight" shaped flywheels with solid discs. I think Alpha used to make them.
